RedNodeStudio ("we", "us", or "our") operates the RedFit mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use RedFit.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

a) Account Information

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo as provided by the identity provider. We do not receive or store your password.

b) Health & Fitness Data

With your explicit permission, RedFit reads the following data from Health Connect (Android) on your device:

• Steps
• Heart Rate
• Active Calories Burned
• Weight
• Hydration

This data is read-only. RedFit never writes to or modifies your Health Connect data.

c) Workout & Activity Logs

Workout entries, exercise logs, water-intake records, and personal goals that you create within the App.

d) App Information

RedFit is a free app. No payment information is collected or processed.

e) Device & Usage Data

Basic device identifiers, app version, and crash logs collected automatically to improve app stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and personalise your fitness tracking experience.
• Generate AI-powered workout suggestions using Firebase AI (Google Gemini).
• Display your progress charts and streaks.
• Send local notification reminders you have configured.
• Diagnose bugs and improve app performance.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your account and workout data are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit.

Profile images are stored on Cloudinary, a cloud-based media service.

We implement industry-standard security measures including Firebase App Check, HTTPS transport, and Firestore security rules to protect your data.

4. Third-Party Services

RedFit integrates the following third-party services:

• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In — authentication.
• Firebase (Google Cloud) — data storage, authentication, AI features, and app security.
• Cloudinary — profile image hosting.
• Health Connect (Android) — reading health and fitness data from your device.

Each third-party service is governed by its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies.

RedFit does not display advertisements. We do not share any user data with advertising networks.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App (Settings > Account > Delete Account) or by contacting us at operations@rednodestudio.in.

Upon receiving a deletion request, we will permanently remove your data within 30 days. Some anonymised, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

RedFit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the App or on this page. Your continued use of RedFit after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
